CAROLINA CARE PLAN NAMES SALTZMAN DIRECTOR

COLUMBIA -- David Saltzman has been named director, Large Group Market Segment, for Carolina Care Plan.

With 26 years of insurance industry experience, Saltzman will be responsible for directing and managing the people and processes involved in the underwriting, sales, and retention of employer groups with 51 or more employees.

Prior to joining Carolina Care, Saltzman served as director of Consumerism for Humana’s Southeast Region, where he was responsible for directing its large-group sales staff, and working with brokers and consultants to promote sales of consumer-driven products and services.

He is also a published health insurance writer and has served as president of the National Association of Health Underwriters.
