CAROLINA CARE PLAN LAUNCHES NEW HOME DELIVERY PROGRAM FOR ORGANIC PRODUCE

Columbia, SC-- Carolina Care Plan members can now have fresh organic vegetables, herbs and micro greens delivered directly to their homes through a new partnership with The Chef’s Garden, a family-run farm who currently provides produce to well-known South Carolina restaurants including Charleston Grill and Circa 1886.

Through Carolina Care Plan’s partnership, over 600 varieties of lettuces, greens, vegetables, herbs, micro greens and unusual specialty vegetables can be purchased for $25 to $35 a box. A percentage of each purchase benefits The Chef’s Garden’s non-profit organization Veggie U, which teaches children in more than 1,600 classrooms around the U.S. the value of a lifestyle that involves good nutrition and eating habits.
